About Me

Hello my name is Ben.
I play guitar and various other "instruments".
I have my own mobile recording studio.
I session for various up and coming artists up north and down south.
I like lots of things and lots of stuff. I have my fingers in many pies. I teach Guitar and Bass. I used to teach performance and music in a prison. I teach at a college. I record bands other than my own and spend my days writing and recording all my ideas that appear in my head.
The bands that i am currently playing with are all listed below and are in my top 8 (if you care about statistics like that, those would be my "Top 8" things within this little community)

In keeping with the little piece of warranted space, Onsetcold have now been to Italy, recorded the album and are awaiting its release to the general public, you, so that you can go out and buy it. Its very heavy, not for the faint of heart so if you have a fringe like mid nineties pop diva gabrielle then don't bother even though it will make you so much cooler buy owning it.

My Interests

Interesting things hold my interest for much longer than things that arent. If i was interested i'd find you myself...but seriously lets talk interestingly

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet the people who dont like to have add requests from bands. Especially the one who say "...if i like you i will find you myself..." How the hell are you meant to find something you have never heard?! It takes 2 minutes to have a quick listen and decide if you like it or not then click approve or deny! You never know you might just hear something different that inspires you for the rest of the day! Or if you look at it another way, if at work you received an anonymous bunch of flowers, would you throw them in the bin, or smile secretly to yourself that someone thought you might like them?

I currently have more books than i own cd's. It has become an obsession of mine to trawl second hand/charity/antique shops/car boots etc... looking for books on unique subjects and for books on subjects that interest me. If you want to know more about the interests i hold outside of music we can have a little chat...obviously you will have to make the first move as, being a bookworm, im rather "shy"
