Ok the big three in my life is Cher, I love her music and I love her attitude toward life. Next is Abba, I know they are old school... but there music cheers me up a lot. Last but not least is Barry Manilow... again another old school but his music is sometimes moving and is good to relax too. Between the three of them they all have songs that are good to listen to for every mood you are in. Don't get me wrong or think I am you typical gay guy because I do like all the other kinds of music also.
Oh lord don't even get me started on this subject.... I own 500 DVD's... I really love movies... I love all genres... I but I do have my favorites with comedy, sci- fi, and fantasy.
On tv I like to watch Will and Grace, The West Wing, American Idol, Big Brother, The Family Guy, Futurama, Inuysha, The Simpsons, House, ER, Wife Swap, Trading Spouses, The Golden Girls, Desiging Women, and the News.
I love the Harry Potter series, along with the Lord of the Rings series. I also enjoy mystery novels, sci-fi, and drama
So I will just list my Heroes and explain why I choose them.1. Cher: Because she has the I don't give a shit attitude "what people think." You have to respect someone who is so comfortable being herself.2. Ellen: This is a no brainier, she was very instrumental in paving the way for homosexuality coming to prime time TV and making it part of the mainstream.3. My Grandmother: She was orphaned during World War II and she bounced around from home to home, but still became an amazing person who doesn't take shit from anyone.... she prolly has had the greatest influence on my life... just because she is honest and will let you know if you are wrong.4. The Men and Women serving our Country in the armed forces: Day in and day out we all go to work... or go to class... or we read a new paper, or maybe watch the news on TV, maybe write a letter to the editor about our congressmen... or attend a local debate on something important to you... these are all things that those men and women who serve this country is trained to protect and are willing to die for. Things that some of us just take for granted.
