Harewood's career included stints as an executive at companies such as A&M Records, Arista Records, Hush Production/Orpheus Records, The William Morris Agency and Correct Records/Grindstone Entertainment. In his time at those companies he worked with such talents as Freddie Jackson ,Najee,Force Md's, Chris Rock,Vanessa Williams, Kashif,Martin Lawrence and a host of others.EDclectic is a multi tiered company has distribution arm which distributes music titles by artist such as Gordon Chambers,Marlon Saunders, Rhonda Thomas Ola Onabule, Traciana Graves and others. Marketing arm has worked with labels and artists such as Virgin, Three Keys, Higher Octave, A440,Giant Step, Donnie, Les Nubians, Brash, Rolling Out, Seek, Tom Scott, Alyson Williams, Eric Essix, Dome, Hil St Soul and others.The management arm currently manages Jimmy Sommers and advises Gordon Chambers. EDclectic has recently started a film production arm and produced (with Lock and Roll Productions the film "25 Strong-A Film About Basketball-A Film about Life".
