My Poem To Lilly
You'll always be there for me, thats what you said,
But doubts and worries spin around in my head.
The next year brings more challenges than ever before,
And every day I need you more and more.
You're my friend, my protector, my shoulder to cry on,
Through everything you've been my wings to fly on.
But they say there's something wrong with you heart,
It must be ten sizes to big, and it tears me apart.
You're the most amazing person I've ever met,
And I can't say goodbye not now, not yet.
I need you here with me, to hold me and say:
I love you, and I'll protect you, and never go away.
But thats a fantasy and reality does say,
That some day this year might be your dying day.
But you can't leave me now, I need you here,
You're the only thing that can chase away my fear.
You're the best thing I've ever had and I need you to know
Don't leave me, don't leave me, because I need you so.
