Writing, singing, sports (watching and playing) - If you're going to bash me for being a Bears or Sox fan, then just leave this profile, 'cause I'm really not interested in it. I enjoy getting ahead, talking on the phone, and I'm definitely a movie buff...too many more interests to list. Just ask.
All are welcome, but I guess I'd like to meet someone who can introduce me to something new and/or foreign, or bring me back to a part of myself or life that I've forgotten. Then there are the obvious - Santa Clause, James Dean, Tom Hanks, Kevin Spacey, and a few others I don't feel like adding in at the moment.
Buttercup (personal story, inside joke), and waaay too many others to list. I can pretty much listen to anything, and am interested in something I can sing along with.
Definitely grew up with hardcore movies, and am a fan of 'em - Die Hard (series), Lethal Weapon (series, special focus on 4), Face Off, The Transporter, The Life of David Gale, Fried Green Tomatoes, Donnie Darko, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Duplex, Remember the Titans, Road to Perdition (and anything else with Tom Hanks in it), Pay it Forward, K-PAX (also a fan of Kevin Spacey), The Jerk, Bad Boys II, Boondock Saints, The Gladiator (not the one with Crowe, the boxing one), War Games, Memoirs of a Geisha, Rent, Walk the Line, The Untouchables...and many many many more!!
I hate the weatherman, but on the brighter side of things, Paradise Hotel, 24, Lost, House, Real World, The Gauntlet, There and Back, Flavor of Love, Law and Order (with special focus on Special Victims Unit I love them all, except Trial By Jury - if you haven't seen this, spare youself), Smallville, The Closer, Meet the Barkers, Conviction, King of Queens, Roseanne, Family Guy, Seinfeld, Everybody Loves Raymond, Sex and the City, Friends, Yes, Dear, and then I also try and keep up with current events, but it's a little hard with the schedule I've got this semester.
The Things They Carried, tuesdays with morrie, the five people you meet in heaven, right as rain, and darkness, take my hand," I'm also working on my own book at the moment! As far as reading goes, I'm partial to true stories.
Without a doubt, my mother. She passed away a few years ago when I was 16. I have never seen someone fight for something the way she did; I think I actually gave up that fight before she did. I want to be just like her, and if in 30 years I am half the woman she wanted me to be, I know I'll be happy :)
