My sweet hubby, my dogs, thinking, gardening, decorating, reading, writing, traveling, hiking, running, camping, hanging out, theatre, dancing, talking, laughing, sleeping, breathing deeply. I like sunsets, long walks off of short piers, floating, awesome conversations when I least expect them, waking up and realizing it is Saturday, peeps, wedding cake, flip flops, my torn green pajama pants, hot coffee on a cold day, cold coffee on a hot day, singing with my eyes closed, otters,and sweet tea.

Music:

I love music!!! Can't pick a genre. Nickel Creek, Lucinda Williams, Counting Crows, Dave Matthews, Shane and Shane, Dave Barnes, Marc Broussard, The Indigo Girls, Bonnie Raitt, James Taylor, U2, Joni Mitchell, The Beatles, Tina Turner, Carole King, Madonna, 10,000 Maniacs,Ray Lamontagne, Gillian Welch, Edie Brickell, Sheryl Crow, Steve Winwood, Sting, Stevie Ray Vaughn, David Crowder Band, Jami Smith...I'll just stop there for now

Movies:

Movies? On the couch with a pillow. Lights off. Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Home for the Holidays, Wonder Boys, The Breakfast Club, Romie and Michelle's High School Reunion, Terms of Endearment, Steel Magnolias, The Big Chill, Grosse Point Blank, High Fidelity, Reality Bites, The Hours,Cider House Rules, Pulp Fiction, The Departed, Crash (should be required viewing), Little Miss Sunshine (please love this movie with me). I just really like movies!

Television:

24--Oh yeah, Jack Bauer "Friends" re-runs Animal Planet "Grey's Anatomy" Inside the Actors Studio News channels

Books:

Ugh...so many!!!! The Bible, Blue Like Jazz, Searching for God Knows What, Traveling Mercies, Margaret Atwood's short story collections, anything by David Sedaris. Augusten Burroughs is a trip, White Ghost Girls has the best first page of any book I have ever read. I love Beloved by Toni Morrison...Chasing Daylight,In Cold Blood by Capote--it was awesome, but gave me nightmares. History of Love--fabulous characters. The Falls (currently reading)

Heroes:

Jesus Christ, My friend and former professor, Jane Creighton, Virginia Wolff, Horton Foote, Steve Prefontaine, and people who are willingly to put themselves on the line for their faith.
