No!Breaks-Records was brought into life in 2005 by three music enthusiasts. Their intention is to forward tunes which are hard, powerful, danceable and in a way provoke listeners in a club to go into a state of euphoria.
The first release on No!Breaks was Current Value´s “Simple Things†and “Freewayâ€, a track written by the Berlin based artist Cy:mon, produced by Current Value. This tunes shaped up very well and are still played at many partys.
With “Giant Warrior†and “Mayday†a young talented upcoming producer called Scary was featured, whose arrangements can be described as refreshing and very creative. "Giant Warrior" was produced together with Bad Matter, a Hard-Drumfunk-producer with a long time of experience in producing, with releases on other labels like Intransigent, Alpha Cut, Future Sickness, Hell´s Basement & Plainaudio. From that time on Bad Matter took charge of mastering the tracks of No!breaks to strong and hard pieces, like the 3rd 12", which came from Nize5ive (Berlin) & Pitch´n Sulphur (Dresden), whose productions "Tuning" and "Creative Wax" were released in early 2007 on No!breaks. The fourth release includes not only a musically very worked out track from Scary called "Shadows", but also features a stomping monster-track of Skelektor named "Reality is a bitch".
No!breaks, closely intersecting with the Berlin based Drum&Bass-crew Audiomassive tries to enliven & to inspire the world of Drum&Bass by featuring new talented artists, organizing partys, inviting people from other countries.
