Avid Dj and Music fan.I've always been music based, my father was a church choir singer when i was younger - so i was 'hearded' into it at quite a young age, classical music was the only genre of music i was allowed to listen to until i started secondary school in 91. I suppose it all went from there. Because of the vast mixture of people and cultures; i was exposed, for the first time to differnet styles of music. It was because of this, im sure, that led me to rebel against my classical and religious roots. The first type of music i can rememeber listening to "religiously" was happy hardcore. Completely at the other end of the spectrum i think you'll agree. But it was such a relief to finaaly express myself in a way where i felt in control. I started Spinning the tunes at 15 - with a soundlab DLP and a CD Player, getting my first major break with a Pirate station Smoove 104 in early 96. I ended up with a saturady morning breakfast show which i kept until the station folded in late 97. During this time i had a weekly residence in Labrinth/Pleasure Rooms in Tottenham - again until the club shut down. By now i was playing UK/Us Garage or Speed Garage as it was called.Things began to slow down and i spent most of the next year and a half concentrating on work and developing my mixing /presenting and music selections. By now i was well and truely hooked and was lucky to get a set on, the well established,Time FM 104.6. Here i remained Playing Various styles and catering for all until in early 99 i was tempted to Passion 91.8 by a close friend. Here i believed to have found my home and continued playing all hours, ( Was well known for doing marathon sessions) Club work followed and have been lucky to grace the soundsystem of many a great venue.I left Passion in late 02 after a dispute with management over policy and returned to Time Fm during it's transitional stage of change to Subjam 104.7. Staying here until 05 until hanging up my headphones to concentrate on family matters.So where am i now?? Well Currently Engaged to My Soulmate and have been taking time to try and sort my life out. Have been meaning to return to radio for a while, But you know the old saying, "If you want something done right you have to do it yourself".Im here Really to say hello, to reintroduce myself to the world, and of course to Be The OriGinal SHARK.So If you're an Artist,Producer,DJ,MC add me - you never know i might end up scratching your back sometime in the near future!!!
