KEL on EARTH

KEL has been enhancing the vibe in Brisbane and beyond since late last century. Her hypnotic vocals and wise lyrics are often heard about town with the likes of 'The Kelly Gang’, ‘Mr Laneous’, ‘The Coalition Crew’, ‘Deep Ends’, or just rockin’ a solo set. KEL is also working with renowned Boomtown prouducers Sammsonite and Dats on recording project ‘Bankrupt Billionaires’. Both ‘The Kelly Gang’ and 'Bankrupt Billionaires' are making steady progress in the studio with hopes of releasing albums ONE DAY!!! KEL also makes beats too - see some works-in-progress above.
KEL's singing style is reminiscent of the jazz divas from the 1940s and 1950s, and soul singers of the 1970s. She has a natural gift for song writing and rhyming, and was recently labelled "Queen of Brisbane Hip Hop" (Rumpus TV, 2008).
KEL has dabbled in most genres. Her versatility is evidenced through the various recordings she has been involved with. She has rocked most live music venues in Brisbane + Woodford Folk Festival (since 2002); Valley Fiesta; Big Day Out (05,06,09); The Speigletent (QLD music festival 06,07,08); The Espy (VIC); Hotel Bondi (NSW); Great Northern (Byron Bay) - to name a few.
