COUNT THY DAYS...

Count Thy Days was formed to create heavy-ass melodic music to crush Emo. We assembled in Harrisonville, MO in Nov. ’05. We played our first real show at Jerry’s Bait Shop in Lenexa, KS Mar. ’06. After that we started playing shows everywhere we could, parties, bars, ect... During that time, Summer ’06, we recored our first demo, "Alive and Rotting", in Ryan’s basement, then released it. Our next big show was at the American Icehouse, Sept. ’06 in Kansas City. Which led to us playing the El Torreon. That show opened the door to us recording our second demo at Hyde Park Studio. The owner/producer, Drew Burasco, ended up liking the band so much that he signed us to his record label, Beatoven Records. So our second demo became our first album, "Within the Hands of Death."
