I was born in Sunnyvale, California on December 8, 1964. I spent my childhood dancing and fishing with my father. I was captain of the Featherettes dance team in High School. Then I was voted "Most Likely to Become a Solid Gold Dancer" by my graduating class. I became a member of the 1984 Gold Rush professional cheerleading squad of the San Francisco 49ers. I first started acting when I went to Hollywood to lend moral support to a friend during an open casting call. I auditioned and won my first role playing a singing and dancing mermaid for the television series, "The Love Boat." Then the rest is history.
