The bandmembers of Tool, Ewan MacGregor, Queen Elizabeth I, maybe even II, Ancient Egyptians and pagan deities, Hail Eris!
Progressive rock, hard rock, industrial, breakbeats, hardcore, some J-rock/pop, but for the most part anything that I can sing along to with the exceptions of most country music and rap/hip hop. I do enjoy a lot of older music as well. I do NOT enjoy thrash, powermetal, that emotion punk rock shit some kids consider music because the band 'understands them'. Also, if I'm ever at a show where hardcore dancing starts, and you get a spin-back kick to your gut for flailing your arms around like a jerk, that'd be me. :)
Guy Ritchie movies, Quentin Tarentino movies, The Star Wars Sextology (lmao, that's what it is now.)
Anime films, period films, and pretty much anything that strikes my fancy when I see the coming attractions, I'm not that picky.

I think that everyone in their own right is a hero/heroine. It can be something as simple as throwing a quarter in the VA bucket out front of the supermarket to saving a life in the most dramatic scene possible. As long as you do your part in society by contributing to good deeds here and there, you're a hero. And oh yeah, if you buy me a coffee at work, I'll probably call you my hero for the rest of the day. :)
Note: Dunkin Donuts iced latte, mocha swirl. Skim milk, sugar, and no whipped cream. Medium preferred.
