I grew up in Minnesota and moved to California back in 1998. Now it feels like home, although I miss my family, who is scattered around MN, ID, and OR. I was married, now divorced, I have a job that I absolutely adore, but it eats up a lot my free time and I've (sadly) become a bit of a bore... I am trying to re-learn the things about me that made me an interesting person - Like watching indie movies, going to concerts, reading great books and knitting! Sometimes I wish I were a kid and had a second shot at this whole sha-bang, but I truly feel blessed and privileged for all I have now. Are there things I would change???? Absolutely! but, I am banking on the belief that I'm learning from my experiences and becoming a better, more thoughtful, compassionate and caring person for going over the hurldes. My dad always says "Joy on mountaintops, but growth in the valley's"... And overall.... I know that God has overwhelmingly blessed mefar more than I deserve and significantly more than I've earned! I hope in some small way I am giving it back and paying it forward.... This is more, far more than i ever expected.... God is good!
