MY STORY is basically no different from anyone elses. I am a songstress/ songwriter in Louisville, KY. I am also an independent producer, which means I dont have a team of other producers I am working with...YET. One day I would like to meet Timbaland and work with him. He is my favorite producer. I'm working extra hard to meet my ultimate goals. No rush. I'm only 18 years old. :)
USUALLY when people are asked what motivates them, they usually name another person, but in my case I can honestly say I motivate myself. I know I am always willing to do more. And why not keep pushing myself to go further and further when I know I'm nowhere near where I want to be. Competitiveness runs in my blood. Im made for competition. And I have always learned that criticism makes you better. Thats why I take it and run with it.
AS AN ARTIST I am very passionate about my music and music itself. I'll sing to whoever wants to listen. Sure, I would like to win awards one day and perform at the Superbowl, but at the end of the day, I'm just happy sharing my music with a crowd. And it feels good when people enjoy and relate to my music. It feels awesome. I AM what you see. I dont try to be something Im not. I have big, BIG dreams. Even when people doubt my determination to pursue my dreams of using the gift God has given me as a career in the future, I still have that goal oriented mind frame I had before. I always find comfort in knowing that music is my destiny. And I know things will fall into place when they should. Only time will tell. Any haters that wanna hate out there, go ahead and hate. Sometimes you can motivate me too. It'll never beat my self motivation of course, but you could come in handy on some days. hehe. :) But anyway, I want to thank the my peeps in Louisville who have already had a taste of what God has blessed me to do.
