I am here for Friends

About Me

I'm a young at heart and mind 50 something who is still willing to learn and not a been there, done that experience snob. I grew up in the heart of Chicago and lived there for almost thirty years, before God gave me a new assignent to the place where the deer and the buffalo roam (imagine me a big city girl in the tall grass of Kansas). Well, eventually I came to love this place, it really did have a healing effect on my soul. I've also escaped the pill of bitternness and sarcasm by the grace of God, and although I deeply feel for those who may truly be struggling in this area,I don't wish to park too long on any issues or resolved personal justifications related to "why I can't forgive her/him or them and just go on with my life." My interests are reading, my children (no grands yet) my husband, my pet calico cat, gardening, (I'm still trying to create my own secret garden in the great Kansas clay (if you can believe that) but most of all, my greatest passion resides in my all-comsuming love for Jesus Christ and promoting His Kingdom here on earth. I pray that all who visit this space will sense the fragrance of God's love and know that it is especially for you.
