Few beasts are as feared and despised as the legendary Bubblenuff, which steals the solidity from creatures and leaves them cloaked in purple sores and sadness.
St. Roger of Wilco writes in the "Book of Bland Clapping: Monster's Appendix": "It bears a head the size of a head, and legs as long as arms. Its hands are claws. It speaks in suction and is often bearded in the folly of its victims. It's ugly and I hate it so much."
Further studies have found that it is as long as a jungle cat, yet tall as a short human man, or of a halfling with gigantism. Its skin is rock hard when agitated, yet jelly soft when relaxed. Soothing music or a deep-tissue massage may lower its guard and make it suceptible to harm.
Once lulled into a state of rest, the creature may be driven into a coma-like state with the application of blue languge and holy water (of a proper sky blue color). A sharpened yam must then be driven into the beast's still-beating heart.
