I’m a homestead girl from Papakolea, and like half of my family (and it's a BIG family)I graduated from the infallible Roosevelt High (All Hail! Hail! Hail!) . I moved to the mainland for a little while and became the first minority to compete in Miss Oklahoma USA as the first minority to hold the Miss Oklahoma City USA title. While I was there I went to the University of Oklahoma (BOOMER SOONER), and I was able to get a Master Degree in Counseling Psychology from a private christian college. I met some of my best friends in Oklahoma, but always missed my friends and family here in paradise. Fortunately, we have been among the affluent and have mixed and mingled with the movers and shakers of different industries. I would say my style is foo-foo-rella (thanx unko shayne) when I'm out, but when I'm home I like to wear sweats and pajamas. I come from a great line of gourmet's (shout out to "Chiu Wu"...check it out if your ever in Oklahoma City) but something got lost in translation with me. At this point I would say my career is important to me although I'm not a slave to it.
