An artist from New Jersey, Mike’s musical career began at the momentous age of four, when his sister turned him onto Bon Jovi and more specifically Richie Sambora. During that year that Mike received his first guitar, the first of many instruments he would acquire and play with style and skill. By fifth grade, Mike started playing in a band, 49 Klixx – his first of many - that played a mix of covers and originals. If there had been any question before about the role of music in Mike’s life, this experience dispelled those doubts. It was at this time that Mike’s symbiotic love affair with music began – he may not have called it that, but he certainly knew his life could only be fulfilling if music were at its core.
After two years, Mike started, The Brown Study, in which he played guitar and vocals, and also, wrote all of the music. The Brown Study enjoyed a fine local following and gave Mike the chance to play with one of his biggest influences, Superdrag. Following his two-year run with The Brown Study, Mike joined the North Jersey band Framework where he sang lead vocals, played guitar and wrote most of the original songs they played. Mike’s time with Framework was filled with performances that shared the stage with many notable acts such as Crusierweight and Gym Class Heroes to name a few, appearances at the Bamboozle Festival, The Stone Pony and CBGB's, and recording still-unreleased material at the famed NYC recording studio, "Right Track Recording Studios."Mike graduated from Moravian College, Bethlehem, PA and is on his way to law school at the Widener University School of Law where he will focus on entertainment law. But, you can be assured that between and after classes, Mike and his music will be thriving, recording and performing. MyGen Profile Generator
