AnnMarie Fox was born in Brooklyn, New York, on January 9, 1985. AnnMarie has an older brother, a twin brother, and a little brother whom she adores a great deal. Her parents and brothers currently reside in Kannapolis, North Carolina. (20 miles from Charlotte, North Carolina). AnnMarie's mother is from Trinidad and her father was born and raised in Salisbury, North Carolina. His grandmother was full blooded Cherokee Indian. AnnMarie's family moved to Spencer, North Carolina when she was 10 years old. She has been in North Carolina ever since.AnnMarie is currently an Administrative Assistant in Raleigh, North Carolina for an Israeli agricultural company. She is also a part-time Hip-Hop teacher here in Raleigh, N.C. (www.foxdanceproductions.com) AnnMarie graduated from Salisbury High School on May 28th, 2003, and then from King's College on June 18th, 2004. She received a Diploma in Administrative Assisting with a 3.9 grade point average. As for dance training, AnnMarie received it in Brooklyn, New York at P.S. 139 on the weekends with Dove Dance Productions. AnnMarie studied Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Ethnic, and Hip-Hop. AnnMarie also had basic training in belly dance, which she noticed that a lot of young entertainers are taking up. She also took up vocal training at P.S. 139. AnnMarie sings, write/arrange vocals, choreograph dance routines, and strives to be an accomplished producer. AnnMarie has performed (sang & danced) at many local talent shows, and for local major events. Crowds can testify that AnnMarie is an excellent performer/entertainer and works very well with people. AnnMarie's musical influences are but not limited to: Sade, Aaliyah, Mya, TLC, Stevie Wonder, Otis Redding, Sam Cooke, Selena, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Shakira, and the list can go on. AnnMarie's has a wide range of musical interest. Some days she feel like Alternative/Rock, Reggae, Reggaeton, Merengue, Salsa, Bachata, Cumbia, Egyptian, Caribbean/Calypso, Classical, Pop, songs from Bollywood, Arabian, Polynesian, she's all out there. Even a little bit of Country.
