Artist Extraordinaire

About Me

I'm an artist living in the Milwaukee area. For the most part my genre is fantasy/sci-fi illustration, although I also do portraits when the mood strikes me.

As for the actual art - usually I'll work in pencil, then go over that in ink, scan that in, and then color it on the computer. I used to do watercolors and acrylic painting but I'm pretty happy to leave that behind because to be honest that shit was wearing me out, y'all....

Lately I've been buckling down and learning how to create 3D art, and I'll be posting some of it soon. I've always wanted to do it, but the learning curve is pretty steep, especially when you're used to 2D programs like Photoshop and Illustrator.

By day I pay the bills by doing graphic design/web design. It's a different animal, but it's still on the creative side so at least there's that. I normally work with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, sometimes InDesign when the need arises.

I'm actually an A.C.E. (Adobe Certified Expert) in Photoshop CS. I know at this time they're up to version CS3, but I ain't looking to shell out another $150 for that test that really doesn't give you much more than bragging rights.

That said, if you are having any issues with any of the Creative Suite stuff, I can probably help you out, just give me a holler...

My Interests

I'd like to meet:
