KZ. kwame kwei-armah jnr aka KZ was brought up in a very artistic family ranging from singers to musicians,poets to dancers, actors to artist .At a young age he had adapted to music as his one and only passion . starting at the age of just 3 Kz began to sing and play the piano. He showed his talent through church,school and the street . Kz then began to widen his musical knowledge by picking up other instruments such as drums,bass,recorder,guitar and trumpet.At the age of 10 as his father began to act rather than do music Kz decided to grab on to what his father was about to to leave behind and began producing .He soon began to become familiar with the latest technology from starting at using garage band and steadily increasing to fruity loops, cubase, and then logic and is still using these programs to this current day .As a multi instrumentalist Kz aims to bring a different feel to the world of music production the fusion of live instruments and the digital world.By creating new sounds new ways of recording and mixing but still keeping to the roots of what music was and still is. you can hear more about Kz and his work at www.myspace.com/intemporecords
