i'm a woman of substance and i truly enjoy life.. i have a beautiful career and wonderful children.. and i thank God for everything................................... But somehow...i just thought of...what are we looking for..??? We've known all along that there are many women out there who are, as they say, waiting to exhale- to unburden themselves or to have catharsis by castration (if only by words). Part of a woman"s growing up and growing old is running into jerks. I know of no girl who didn't have a share of those. (OK, maybe one or two, but perhaps I could be misled.) But then, I also know of women who've had more than a fair share of the universe's allocation of wimps. You'd prefer to have choices beyond those two exremes:- jerks who merely use and abuse: wimps who are so easy to use and abuse.I believe that the type of man a woman would be lucky to end up with-amid the variety of characters I've come across out there- IS A NURTURING MAN. There's nothing like a man who knows how to nurture you and let you blossom. To begin with, he helps you realize your potential- be it in your career or at home or on the road. He pushes you to learn how to drive,because that's a big step towards being independent-and he wants you to be able to turn over the wheel once in a while. He taught you a sport because he wants you to beat his ass-once in a while. He taught you how to eat exotic food because well, you can try something, at least once in your life. He made you discover that you could cook even if the rest of the distrusting world wouldn't let you come within a meter of the kitchen..He'd tell you when your written word is lucid and beautiful, and when it sucks..And when you ask him if you already have crow's feet, he doesn't lie nor does he tell the truth. He just fixes his gaze on you and says,"trick question"-nurturing, but great survival instincts nonetheless. Or, when you ask him if he thinks you already need liposuction, he grins-"why not a package?"You and he make for a better deal with a famous lipo surgeon..He lets and helps you become the best you can be. You and he make a good mix of joy and angst, pain and laughter, tragedy and comedy, peace and combat. Once i asked our college professor how a girl would know if a man is good for her and she said, "If he enhances your life , not drives you into ending it." I believe her..and that is true.. So there you have it, girl...The nurturing man..he is what we need..however... the question is: Does he exist?Well, I believe so. Thirty pounds overweight, perhaps but he does exist. hehehe... I have started searching for that someone right here in MySpace... my problem is my time..but for sure..He's just around...
