Narrator Bio I am “Narrator” ( Lee Jones III) the voice of explanation to the madness in the streets. I am a talented Richmond Virginian artist, vocalist, poet, and city survivor/urban composer. My unique displays of superior punchlines, impressive vocabulary, and aggressive delivery have won me various talent shows and M.C battles. My journalist started as early as an Elizabeth Redd Elementary School talent showcase. My recognition didn’t start until the mid 90s when I joined The Bloody Reign Hardcore Richmond Rap Group, which expresses the dismal side of the “R”. Richmond is Virginia’s murder capital and ranked in murders as one of the top 10 in the Nation. We’ve performed in shows with signed legends such as Young Bloodz and Trina. We are very recognized locally and in some other states. We also work on solo projects.I have featured on A Dj Lonnie B song (good friend). I have been the spoken word champ many consecutive times. I share pride in sharing the stage with great champs including Talaam Acey and 13 of Nazareth. I have also performed at various events such as Virginia Union’s Homecoming, Bar 13 in New York City, and I have also helped contribute to the sell out event at Theater IV sponsored by Lyric Ave. Lyric Ave is a Richmond based poetry and comedy variety show that includes many different venues in widespread locations. I have featured at Tropical Soul Café, The Cotton Club, The Tonic, and other progressive clubs for spoken words. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to open at a gospel event for Hezekiah Walker. You have probably heard some of my spoken word or rapping on TV commercials, mixtapes, or radio commercials and not aware it’s me. I’m the opidamy of versatility.
