I'm the founder of NY Funk Alliance, a band and consortium of musicians, producers, engineers, DJ's and other creative people dedicated to the promotion and fair treatment of emerging artists, specifically FUNK, and any true-to-the-SOUL entertainment. I endorse the sharing of knowledge, networks, and resources unconditionally. I aspire to promote talent and culture in any form - Music happens inside of me through the positive vibration of its resonating energy.
My musical journey began in the streets of Panama, with marching bands. As a youth, a personal introduction to the Master Dizzy Gillespie, fully motivated and encouraged me through my early career. I went on to help build "Birdland West" in Tribeca, NYC, and Backstage Studio Productions in Kingston, New York, both experiences gave me the opportunity to hire many of the artists I admired and respected. I've been blessed by sharing the stage with many awesome musicians along the way.
