I joined the US Army in 1996, when I was only 17 years old, following future soldier classes once a month, wanting to serve my country. I left for IET (Basic Training) at age 18, the day after my graduation. I completed IET at Ft Leonardwood, Missouri and AIT (Job Training), at Ft Knox, Kentucky. During the last 10 years I've spent 4 years total in Germany (2 seperate assignments); 4 months in Bosnia (Operation Joint Guard/Joint Fordge); 2 years in Ft Hood, TX (2 seperate assignment); 9 months in Ft Bragg, NC (Special Forces Training); 1 year in Iraq (Operation Iraqi Freedom); and 2 years in Wisconsin (Detail Recruiter). I love being a soldier. It is something I always wanted to do.
