About Me

Along with the information below, Todd will be running a partial Busch Series schedule in the number 16 3M Ford Fusion in the 2007 season (see below for schedule), and will be sharing the seat with teammate Greg Biffle. Biffle will drive 19 races in the season, and Todd will driver the remaining races, including the season opener in Daytona.
From Todd's page on RoushRacing.com:
Todd Kluevers years in racing date all the way back to when he was just a young kid and his father bought him a dirt bike. Todd, being the type of kid he was, didn't just want to ride it... but race it. And so, his racing career was born.
Todd raced motorcycles on short, dirt ovals and even some asphalt ovals for over nine years before finally being persuaded to move into full-bodied cars at a local track. Todd raced anything he could... trucks, late models, mini stocks... anything. However, the winters in Wisconsin didn't leave much time for racing cars, so Todd decided he would also race snowmobiles. But this was on no ordinary round track. These snowmobiles raced on tracks similar to those of modern day motorcross, with jumps that would send the vehicle and driver 20 feet in the air.
It didn't take Todd long to give up all his successes on two wheels with treads to follow his dream of racing on four wheels in the American Speed Association, a place where several Wisconsin greats continued on to glory. Todd entered ASA in 2002 full-time and placed 10th in driver standings, during his rookie season. He was also the fourth ranked rookie. Todd recorded a career-best finish of fourth at Madison International Speedway in July of 2003 en route to a seventh place finish in the point standings. In 13 starts in 2004, Todd earned two top-five and four top-10 finishes.
In October 2004, Todd got the break of a lifetime when he was given the opportunity to try-out for Roush Racings Race For The Ride. He competed against 25 other drivers at North Wilkesboro Speedway and made it to the final round at Darlington . Todd beat out nine other drivers at Darlington to win a seat in Roushs No. 50 World Financial Group/Shell Rotella® T Ford F-150 in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for the 2005 season. Throughout his 25 races in the Craftsman Truck Series, he earned six top-five and 12 top-10 finishes. He also won the Raybestos Rookie-of-the-Year award, becoming the fourth Roush driver to do so in the truck series.
In 2006 Todd will pilot the No. 06 3M Ford Fusion in the NASCAR Busch Series, and will again compete for rookie honors. He also plans to race in seven NASCAR Nextel Cup events throughout the season.
