Family & friends nickednamed me STICK or STIX begoz it's the english translation of my Samoan middlename La'au which comes from my father's father La'au senior. 'UNKLE' is a cheeky metaphor or its my symbolic way of saying that I'm honestly NO JOKEZ related 2 almost everyone in the Island of SAMOA or in the whole south pacific or just connected 2 the whole world begoz we all bleed the same colour blood & have the same GREATEST GRAND PARENTS - ADAM & EVE hehehe! That is how the aka name UNKLE which joined forces with my nickname STIX, equalivalated 2 my now commonly known name "UNKLESTIX"
I am a performing artist that creates & perform's my own Music compositions, Dance choreographys & Comic-Drama skits. I'm familiar & switchON with most styles suchAz: ROCK, Rock&Roll, Pop, R&B, Soul/Funk, Reggae, Techno/House/Drum&Bass/Diso, Country, Metal, KIWI-Alternative BUT I think my favourite will be Pacific, Kiwi & Gospel music! I studied Dance & Drama @ Excel. I also studied Contemporary music @ MAINZ. I did the MALAGA production where I studied the history of Pacific Culture & majored in Contemporary dance & Lead Vocals. I've performed in alot of events & productions & collaborated with other Artists, Choir's, Bands, HipHop-Dance-Crew's, Culture-Groups & Comedy-Skit-Groups & yes, I AM the ORIGINATOR of the SPARK styla!
I am an Island bruthA born on the 1st of November 1978 in the capital city "WELLINGTON" & raised in the HEARTBEAT of SouthAuckland, 'THE PROMISELAND' Otara, New Zealand. My Parents are a mix of cultures predominantly SAMOAN which obviously makes me SAMOAN but with an AOTEAROA/Kiwi-PACIFIC feel!
