About Me

UPDATES, NEWS, GUITAR TABS, REVIEWS, AND OTHER COOL STUFF: Check out Charlie's WEBSITE www.charlieread.com!!!!!!
Charlie is a guitarist/songwriter from West Virginia. His all-instrumental CD read between the lines is available from Guitar Nine Records, BathTub Music, and CD Baby among others. Individual tunes from the album are available from iTunes and other sites. "Read between the lines" has sold throughout the world and was featured in the April 2005 issue of 20th Century Guitar Magazine. The CD also won both the Readers' Survey and Music Project of the Year awards from Kweevak Music Portal in 2005. Charlie's latest CD is a six song "EP" entitled PRESS - released on August 1, 2008. This CD can be ordered from Charlie's web site - just click HERE ... and also from CD Baby. The entire CD, or individual tracks, is also now available from iTunes.
The guitarist lists many influences in his musical journey, among them the Beatles, Jethro Tull, Jimi Hendrix, and Joe Satriani. But Charlie's primary commitment is to the Lord Jesus Christ, Creator of Heaven and Earth, and the Redeemer of fallen humanity. A Christian since 1973, Charlie is quick to give God the glory for "every good and perfect gift," especially his wife and children, as well as the opportunities for ministry in word and music for the last several years.
"I hope you enjoy some of the tunes on this page, and would appreciate your comments. Drop me a line or add me as a friend. And may God bless you along your life's journey!" Charlie
