After Zach and Tommy's (Hissy Fit, Mother Courage, The Great Clearing Off) musical progeny Guadalahara failed due to excessive night time freelancing, the two decided they needed to escape New York and refocus their energy in the hidden tranquility of Esperanza in Baja, Mexico. What arose from the desert was Machinebird: a new sound that bowed to the greats of classic rock. The two returned to New York with only a vision and an eight-track, but were soon blessed with the attention of Super Buddha, the brooklyn based producing team quickly rising from the underground by producing tracks for the likes of Debbie Harry, The Scissor Sisters, Rufus Wainwright, etc. Machinebird is now preparing their live experience.
