I was born and raised in Utah, so naturally I love the outdoors, hiking, backpacking, camping, snowboarding, wakeboarding, fishing, running, volleyball, hang gliding (though I need to finish my certification) and basically anything active in the great outdoors! I used to say if Utah had an ocean I would never leave.....but alas it does not, so I have recently moved west to beautiful Monterey Bay. This place is awesome, I am excited to be here and I feel very fortunate to have the spectacular Pacific Ocean just a few blocks away. I have fallen back into one of my favorite pastimes lately of running outdoors. I feel very fortunate to have such awesome scenery to run in, a path that traces the bay with breathtaking views and sounds of the ocean it is very serene. There are even a few "mountains" around here that make for some great hikes and I have been fortunate enough to take a few backpacking trips in big sur which were amazing. I am looking forward to the summer as I will be getting dive certified, something I have always wanted to do. I will also be tuning my surfing skills or learning to surf however you want to look at it as I have only tried a few times....=) but try try again and you will succeed! Also looking forward to more backpacking and some trips to yosemite! Well a little more about me, I think you should cherish the people in your life and let them know how important they are to you because you never know what could happen. I love animals! Music, Art, Wine, Good beer, traveling, sunshine, rain, and snow, Singing in the shower, laughing, and being in the arms of the one I love. I like to make up songs about random things and sing them. I love pretty much all food...except pumpkin pie and raw coconut..yuck! But I must say that coconut flavoring (like in pina coladas) is ok in my book. I love the new friends I have made out here so far...one in particular...but I do miss my friends back in Utah along with my family and I try to visit whenever I can. myspace is nice though to keep in touch when I can't be there.....
