Originally C-Flow was formed under the name of Curlyflowers back in 2000 and re-named to C-Flow in 2002, shortly before the band entered - and won! - a nationwide talent award entitled "Schüler machen Lieder", their first important step into the world of showbusiness which lead to regular gigs in their native area, Nord-Thüringen in the eastern part of Germany, and finally to a first CD-album in 2003 named "Brandstrasse" - completely recorded and released by theirselves, without any backing of a label.
In 2004 C-Flow once again participated in "Schüler machen Lieder" and made it to the very top, same goes for nation wide Sistars**-Bandcoaching competition and finally the School Jam awards. 62 shows were played that year including a show at the Alternastage at the international Rock Im Park-festival in Hanau and venues like Landesfunkhaus Erfurt, Knust / Hamburg, 180° Festival / Mühlhausen, Quasimodo / Berlin and others.
In September 2k4 the band first met Maya C. Sternel during a coaching weekend in Dortmund and was finally signed to her label Rudel Records , which she runs in cooperation with baze.djunkiii , in May 2006 after several meetings, coachings and shows. Their first release on Rudel Records is the digital re-issue of their debut-album "Brandstrasse" which is now available form iTunes and other DL-platforms.
Currently the four young ladies are in the studio working on demos for their second full-length album. Watch out for their unique mixture of HipHop & R&B influences, representin' in their German mothertongue!
