I was born in High Point, NC in 1956. I moved to the IOP in 1960 where I was raised by both my Mom and my Dad. I have one sister who is also my best friend. When I was 15 I met the love of my life. We called him Butch, but his name is John. He also has a twin brother named Buddy. Once I graduated from Wando High School we got married and then moved to Ga., then to Alaska for almost 4 years. That's where we started our family and met our best friends. Pat and Bill Jurica. Now, 35 years later, John is still the love of my life! We had 3 boys and one girl. We are also the proud grandparents of 3 Grandsons and 4 Granddaughters. We are in the shrimping industry and the name of our boat is the "MISS DEBI". This past February 16th my loving, crazy, full of life son Jeremy died. He just turned 29 years old January 23rd. Jeremy was loved by many and he is truly MISSED!!! He was the electricity of our family with the biggest smile you have ever seen! It is the WORST thing I have ever been through! I LOVE and MISS him so MUCH! I will NEVER get over it!
