Biography
Raining Fire is a Heavy/Thrash metal band based in Philadelphia.The band started from the break up of a band called Bleth who never made it out of the drummers house.Raining Fire has been working since May 04 but due to line up changes and lead vocal searching the band has only been in complete form since September 04.The first vocalist(Chris Zgoda) joined Raining Fire and worked his ass off from September to December when he was informed of his duty to the U.S. government,He found out that on January 5/05 he was being takin to Mississippi for A school. The current vocalist(Tommy Gamelli) was a close friend of the band who had been asked when chris found out of the misfortune he was facing. At first Tom said no ,but on New Years Eve 04 just two weeks after being asked Tom came to the band during a party and said he was willing to try out so it was agreed that Tom would try out in the weeks following.Tom was accepted two weeks in to January 05.Tom listening to a demo, created by Christina's sound recorder,learned most of the songs very fast but at the same time he developed chris's voice along with it.The last week in january the band got some good news they had been asked by a good friend (Bob of 13 ritual and 215 promotions)if they were willing to do a show only four weeks from the induction of Tom,the band confronted Tom about the show and Tom said yes to the show only knowing three of the six originals the band had wrote.Tom had 2 weeks to learn at least one more song and he did.The show on Febuary 27 05 was a success despite little mistakes and a vocalist that had no time to perfect his voice.And now we are working on new material to bring real metal to deprived metalheads in our area.
