I am here for Friends

About Me

Hey there, I'm Richard. Also known as Rich, Rick and even Dickie Fearnley-Whittingstall. I'm here for the good times. There are many things I love in my life at the moment; I love the way the whole of our gang sit around every lunchtime laughing our heads off at immature jokes and innuendo. I love good etiquette. I love my car. Sherbert lemons are the bees knees as far as sweets go. My ideal breakfast would be in a city bistro, sitting on the terrace with a strong cream coffee, a pain au chocolat and a beautiful girl. As far as I'm concerned, there are two food groups: caffeine and nicotine.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Beauty. The combination of a brilliant personality with a sparkling appearance. I'm in no rush. Love will happen and will take its natural course. Forced love is bad love. I search both romantic love and serious love in equal measure.

My Blog

Why is Richard SO Gay? (Request of Aled Goddard)

Homosexuality, as I mentioned in my last post, is often confused with metrosexuality. Such easy confusion suggests a grey area...a vast expanse in between the straight and the gay with varying levels....

Why is Richard Gay?

A topic of sustained interest in today's society is homosexuality. It intrigues us - gets underneath our skin, even. "Is he gay?" "Does she bat for the other side?" All questions loaded for maximum go...

Christian Aid

This week is Christian Aid week so, as expected, today we had a visitor from a well-meaning citizen to collect a pre-distributed envelope that I was meant to fill with money - and duly did, I might ad...

Social Suicide

Good day again, lovely reader. I have just been thinking about social suicide. Not committing it, I might add, just the concept. How is it that society has become so shallow as to even tolerate such a...

Is Coke Going Out of Fashion?

Hello, lovely reader. I am not an avid observer of peoples' drinking habits by any means. In addition to that, I am not what one might call a Coke drinker myself, save the odd can of Diet Coke when I ...

My Typewriter

It is with much lamentation that, as a result of a dire need for cash, I must sell my beloved typewriter. I only owned it for a small portion of its 78 year life, but it was truly a part of ...

Musings

I don't quite know what a blog is or does. I assume it's just a place for me to deliver my opinions, feelings and reviews of things. Or it could be something more sinister? Either way, I thought this ...
