I'm pretty much open to any genre, as long as the artist isn't generic, or trying to fit a certain image because "that's what sells". I'll always give a band/artist a listen because you never know when you'll be pleasantly surprised by what you hear...

I think the best scary movies are the films that are based on situations that could actually happen...not that I don't like a good gross-me-out fest...it's just that so many movies have given the world of the supernatural a bad reputation...great for hollywood, yeah...but I just can't make myself buy into what they try to pass off as the truth...because I know it's not...I love The Invisible...oh, and I love comedies, foreign films, Jim Henson movies...Danny Elfman and Javier Navarrete are musical geniuses...and I absolutely LOVE Tim Burton and Guillermo del Toro movies...

...I don't watch a lot of tv, but when I do it's usually something funny...or something that makes me think...
I've read a lot of good books (and some bad ones, too), but only a select few have really stuck with me...Pride and Prejudice...Night...and East of Eden comes to mind, too...I think that one would have to be one of my top 5 favorite books.....
