About Me

Hey, I'm Kyle!
For me , music has had a huge effect on me since I was very young. Both of my parents are heavily involved with music, and my dad Steve Rigazzi is a pretty well known Jazz bassist in the Kansas City area. It was obvious at a very young age that I would later pursue music myself. I've been singing ever since I could breathe, but at age 8 I learned how to play the violin. That was the first instrument I ever played. Shortly after that I taught myself how to play several other instruments. It wasn't until my 16th birthday that I started playing the guitar. I played the bass for a long time before that. High School was the beginning of my songwriting career. With girls and other obstacles to keep me inspired, it has been really "therapeutic". It wasn't until late April 2006 that I actually started performing my own music. My first performance was at the school talent show. Since then I've played many shows and entered many contests and competitions, and even winning some of them. I recorded a few demos that summer of '06 and that's when I started my Myspace. In late October of 2007 I recorded my most recent CD, "Opening Up", it features all of my own original songs and my own unique sound. Everything that you hear on there is me, my words, and my music. This is what I want to do for the rest of my life. I can't think of anything else that I would rather do or can do. It's the only thing I'm good at, and it just feels right for me.
