Myspace BackgroundsM.A.F.A.M.A.D.I.X (Mc's Are Few And Many Are Dropped In Xistence) is a seasoned rap artist from Savannah, Ga. He has been into music literally all his life. He has been into hip hop since the beginning, but started rhyming and making beats in 88' when he was only 10yrs old. As an artist it is hard to label him. He hails from the south, but spits unlike most of his peers which makes him unique. He also speaks on social, political, and economic change, but not in a preachy manner, yet still holding a commercial edge. His sharp tongue and delivery carries throughout most f his material. As a musical conisuer, he is inspired by everything from Marvin Gaye, Donny Hathaway, Leroy Hutson, Bootsy Collins to Todd Rundren, Pink Floyd, The Doors, and Kate Bush. His musical tastes show in his carefree production. Rhymewise as a youngster, he was inspired by Big Daddy Kane, Ll Cool J, and KRS ONE to name a few. He is recently coming off of a hiatus to bring good music back to the game. In a time where we as a people seem to be culturally dead Maf is here to ressurrect...

Influences: Big Daddy Kane - I used to try to write like him and mimic his style. He was the coolest nigga on the planet to me.LL Cool J - I admired the way his whole angle was the ladies, but he was still a lyrical giant. You gotta respect that.KRS ONE - Man when I heard Number One. I thought nobody was touchin' him. He made my writing more competative.Donny Hathaway - I related to him on a personal level. I too feel misunderstood sometimes even when I get a ton of love.Todd Rundren & Kate Bush - I loved the way each of these artists composed their music. I was fascinated by their unorthodox song arrangements and melodies. I am an out of the box thinker and I get bored with music quickly so I need that.Andre 3000 - He is one of the most brilliant and profound writers of our time in my opinion. Also a left wing thinker. And he from Georgia so that's a plus.Ice Cube - He influenced my political side a lot coming up. He always challenged different views. Without Cube there would be no Pac, hence there would be no Biggie. IF YOU WANT A DEEPER EXPLANATION HIT ME UP AND I WILL EXPLAIN.Q-Tip - He was always one of my favorite Mc's during the golden era of hip hop. He always had some of the most poetical quotes that you could apply to your everyday life.Slick Rick - For bringing style and swagger to the game. His music was always fun and entertaining, plus he had a truckload of charisma.Jay-Z - To pick his brain and find out what goes on in that mind of his. This dude is so crafty and clever with the wordplay.Eminem - He is just so sick lyrically it's ridiculous. Every album is like a chapter in his life at that moment in time, which is the same way Marvin Gaye used to construct his albums.
