About Me

The Malchicks formed in early 2006 when Jack, Jonny and Lloyd decided to play together again, two years after playing in another band. Chris was then asked to complete the line-up by taking on bass duties. They started with cover songs by well-known bands; The Buzzcocks, Kaiser Chiefs and the Red Hot Chili Peppers to name a few. They are currently working on their own material and practising more cover songs so the crowd have something to sing along to! If you're wondering where the name came from - read 'A Clockwork Orange' and it will all become clear. If you can't be bothered with that, it simply means, 'boys' in the 'nadsat' language of the book! Please visit our youtube account where different videos of live performances/ practises will be put up every so often, so you can get an idea of what we're like until we put songs on the myspace homepage. Paste the following address into the website bar etc etc - http://www.youtube.com/Malchicks . If you want to hire us to play at your party or play with/ support your band, leave a comment/ message on myspace or email us on: [email protected]
