About Me

I am a little Haggis seeking fame and fortune in the big smoke whilst continuing on my quest for the perfect cup of tea. I have lived in Japan and would like to live in New York. I have wonderful friends that make up my extended urban family to whom I owe everything. I have just finished the UK tour of The Rocky Horror Show, no longer in a corset today's mood is one of slight blubber. I must find new job soon to pay for last minute holidays and impulse purchases. I hate to be static in life, I never know what I want but I am always sure that this isn't it. I love good food, I love good wine more. I was born in Glasgow and love big cities like London, Tokyo and New York but only if I know I can escape easily and often. I would rather be cosy than suntanned, happy than rich and overworked than bored. Until my very likely move to Hollywood I remain in Richmond usually attached to Mark who knows me better than most and loves me anyway. There is every chance he has mental health issues, we live in hope.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

More far flung friends so that I can have more free holidays, all of the people in my heroes section (apart from my mum and dad whom I have met a few times before.) A leprachaun, a fairy and a very rich person who wants to produce every play I write in exchange for overwhelming gratitude.

My Blog

Mercury Rising

This week I found myself asking how does an actor measure their success? I would have thought awards, amount of auditions or (lets go out on a limb) jobs. Maybe how much money they can ask for, there ...

The First Week on The Rocky Road.

How romantic it must have been to be a wandering minstel in days gone by. Moving week to week delighting locals with theatrical tales from the city. Well, it's not quite like that anymore.Althoug...
