Formed in January of 2002, Caffeine Superstar (formerly known as The Academy) was comprised of four musicians, Russell Bosley, Jason Kincaid, Wesley Moree and Brian Norris, who were tired of the same music being shoved down the throats of the public with nothing but the intent of making a dollar at the cost of the blind consumer. In 2007 Guitarist Wesley Moree left the band and new Guitarist Matt Stamey joined the line-up.Caffeine Superstar are on their way to opening doors and minds of those who have been left behind at the fault of the music industry. They have shared the stage with national acts such as CKY, COLD, Finger Eleven, Nothingface, Trust Company, Still Naive, Memento, Doubledrive, Stuck Mojo, Indorphine, Psychostick, The Lucky Stiffs, Forever Never,Minus.Driver, and Bloodjinn. No matter if it is playing in front of a group of four or a group of four thousand, as long as one person gets touched by the music that is all that Caffeine Superstar wants.
