Murat Karhan and Onur Dikmen who had set their hearts on electronic music were friends for ages. One day the came with these question "Why just we don't do some music?" Upon this they formed the MO-X in 2005 which symbolises their initials and 'X' for the one who might join their band later and not that later, they won 'The Miller Music Factory Awards 2006', which is an organization to support the ones doing electronic music, in the category of Electronica.
