Well, I've been here in Kansas City for over two years now...it's still okay. It's ssoooo nice to have four seasons again. We had snow, lots of it, this year. After living in Texas for six years with nothing but ten months of hot and two months not so hot, KC is a nice change.
I've finished one semeter of grad school, one step closer to being Dr. Matkin! Or Dr. Krogmeier...soon. I'm an "A" student so far. Didn't think I'd grasp 15 chapters of clinical pathophysiology as quickly as I did. Fall will be busy and there's talk of gross anatomy included in my anatomy class at 7:30am. Fantabulous! Cutting into a body is just what I was wanting to at 7am!
Less than 3 months to go until the wedding! So excited and so nervous. I want everything to be perfect but I know something always goes wrong, just wonder what that'll be. The theatre will look exquisite, draped in white with purple and fall accents. The bridesmaid dresses will be elegant and the groomsmen will look smashing! You'll just have to be there!
Matt and I went to his hometown a few weeks ago for his parent's 50th wedding anniversary. 50 years, incredible. While there, his mother gave me a bridal shower and there was a family reunion. I think I met over 300 people that weekend but it was great.
