In 2004 producer Botek heard and met a DJ that he still calls "totally unique" - his name is Dave Onex and a year later ELEKTRIK HAZE was born. ELEKTRIK HAZE are now one of the fastest rising producer teams in dance music, with enquiries flooding in since the promo release of their reconstructed progressive remix of Green Day's 'Boulevard of Broken Dreams' that did serious dance floor damage worldwide and was listed as the "top pick" for over a month at HARD TO FIND RECORDS - DJ's please note HTFR is currently the exclusive UK outlet for the bands vinyl promos (www.htfr.com +44 (0)121-687 7777 [email protected] for a free catalogue)

ELEKTRIK HAZE have already had their material smashed for 5 weeks on Radio 1 with JUDGE JULES , Ministry of Sound's Howard Ritchi, and support from DJ's all over the planet. Their recent production "Elektro Loser" is also doing the rounds by everyone from Pete Tong, to Dj Dan, and Donald Glaude and was touted by top producers the Flash Brothers of Yoshitoshi/Oxyde, as their Top Track for 2006 & 2007. Forthcoming projects include original material DIRTY ROXX cdr being caned by Roger Sanchez and Mike Hiratzka, An elektro tech remix of Jimi Hendrix Purple Haze, and Gabriel and Dresdens Tracking Treasure Down. Recent shows and residencies in Las Vegas include EMPIRE BALLROOM, TAO opening for SANDER KLEINENBERG, and BODY ENGLISH this past 4TH OF JULY. On LABOR DAY WEEKEND September 2nd 2007, they're scheduled to headline the REHAB POOL PARTY meets CLUB SPACE MIAMI @ the HARD ROCK HOTEL alongside SHARAM DEEP DISH and CEDRIC GERVAIS for a special SPACE TERRACE event in vegas to be broadcast live on SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO. Their rich sound fusing dirty electro, tribal, and rock infused progressive house beats in a way that has had some of the most prestigious labels in dance keen to sign the duo, while major chart artists are queueing up to have their own material given the same unique live remix treatment as recently applied to Beck, Green Day, Moby, Pink Floyd, Gabriel and Dresden, Xpress2, Nine inch Nails, the Flash Brothers, and Eminem. DJ Lucca's Bodydance was their latest remix just signed to the SOUND OF ACAPULCO records and was played by CARL COX on PETE TONGS ESSENTIAL MIX last month. click HERE for clips of content from their live show

With a massive buzz for their spectacular and tight on-the-fly remix sound already spreading like a firestorm across the USA since their debut appearances a few months ago, it was no surprise that they were the stars of the 2006 WMC at Nikki Beach and Ultrafest resulting in a a video shoot for MTV and 3-hour live headline set at the world famous Space Ibiza on 10th September alongside Groove Armada.
In January 2007 they made their debut appearance in London at world famous TURNMILLS and some have predicted Elektrik Haze are on their way to being a future Deep Dish/Gabriel & Dresden type duo. .

Dave Onex
A knee injury sadly washed away Dave Onex's chances of a pro-soccer career but seeking an outlet for his boundless energy, Onex quickly joined the pioneers of house music evolution through his involvement in the United States first electronic dance stations, KROQ, MARS FM, and finally GROOVE RADIO, joining long time friend Dave Dresden of Gabriel and Dresden fame, there.

Spinning house music now for over 20 years with a personal appearance profile that spans most major club venues in the US South West, as well having owned 3 nightclubs of his own, Onex cites his influences as Sander Kleinenberg, Steve Lawler, and Sasha & Digweed, and is quickly gaining respect as one of the industries most respected DJ/producers.

His production credits include remixes of Danny Tenaglia's 'Elements', Robbie Rivera's 'Funkatron', Richard F's 'Down and Dirty', Tiesto's 'Traffic vs Flight643' and M Factor's 'Mother' (played and charted by Radio 1's Judge Jules) have marked Onex out as a tour de force in his own right, but his live/production partnership with with Botek as ELEKTRIK HAZE has taken things to a whole new level.

/ Botek
After experiencing his first electronic festival in San Francisco at age 15, Botek instantly fell in love with Techno and discovered an affinity for dance music which has continued to grow as he seeks to push the art form to greater heights through each successive project.

Moving back to the San Francisco bay area in 2000, Botek decided to go back to school to earn a degree in Audio Engineering and the study of sound design and recording, soon teaching audio production, sound design, and midi implemention as an instructor at one of California's premiere recording institutes. Working in live studios with producers heavily involved with the funky, tribal 'SF House' , Botek was able to see dance music up close and behind the scenes, and continued to get hands on with everything and anything musical from live sound at clubs to performing and producing local bands.

At age 23 Botek was offered the position as Musical Director for a nationally syndicated magazine TV show on the WB network. (GNTV) With creative control he handled everything from Live on set recordings to pre and post production of every show. Boteks sound design, and original TV and Game music was heard across the nation to over 20 million households a week.

As a result of his diverse musical intersts Botek met key players across a much wider field than most including the most important person in his career, Steven Shore, an artist manager with a long involvement in the entertainment industry and a select group of high profile clients in both film and music. Over the next four years Botek kept Steven up to date on his various music projects and then in 2004 Botek met Dave Onex - and the pieces of a very special music jigsaw came together in the shape of ELEKTRIK HAZE.....watch this space!
