About Me
Kicking off around mid 2005, ElonSkee debuted his producing familiarity by recording with close friends and family which later on turned into a hobby. Those early years of creating music lead to the formation of the "S.Y.T.E.Rz" which after led to the creation of the "Black Glovez". The initial members of the group were ElonSkee, Taigenz, TJB, Twigy, Double A & All Star.
Growing at a fast pace, "Black Glovez" turned into a family rather more than a group, recognizing artists such as Spades, Cheeks, Ryder, Tipsy, Evidenc3, Young Mac, Try-Boy, Mz. Cherry, Msz. Keelie, Mz. Lina, Twizzy, Dimplezz, Purps, S Bundlesss & Sosio. Which for the most part were featured on the "2008 The Taking Over" mixtape.
We've been featured on radio stations such as:
97.4 Hits FM & CKUT 90.3 various times.
January 1st, 2009 marked the official launch of ElonSkeeTV. The initial goal of this project was to introduce each and every member individually throughout audio & video content released throughout various media sources e.g: The Official ElonSkeeTV YouTube Channel.
ElonSkee: "Over the years i've seen and understood how much more judgemental we became as a whole. I think that stems from "free speech", we've recently started to realize that we dont have to think the same, we dont have to do anything alike, everybody wants to be unique, we all have an opinion and we all are confident that whatever the next person is doing, we can do better.
I've been doing music for half of my life debuting with instruments and in this new era that we live in, everybodys mind is set to accomplish whatever the next person is doing 10x better. I just do me, if your music does not appeal to me then i probably wouldnt further listen to it. Im on that Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, Kanye, Common, Lupe Fiasco, Asher Roth, Jay Z, Big L, Eminem etc most of the time.
For the most part, im really picky on the perfection side, i like to make sure everything is on point word to word and that nothing is missing. That alone can improve your music drastically apart from lyrics, flow etc. Im confident enough to say that we've made over 300 singles and counting and out of all of those, dropped probably 50 through myspace.
