I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

OUR MISSION: Our entire purpose is to care for, house and love UNCONDITIONALLY the abused, disabled and ill cats that find us. We are a non profit group who wipes snot, scrapes poop, hoses down pee, and washes more laundry than we care to say. We FIRMLY beleive that we are not "GOD" and should not act as if we were, we will NEVER euthanize and we beleive in and support natural passing. No matter what the illness we will hold, love and kiss any ill kitty in need until the end. We are not a sanctuary for a healthy adoptable kid. We are a hospice of sorts and we are a last resort so the kitty is not euthanized as a human convenience. We run solely on donations. We do not discriminate against FIV/FELV or FIP positive kids. In fact, we dont discriminate against any illness whatso ever. We are not here to "reform" feral cats, we rather let them roam free on our property and let them be themselves. If they come to us, great, if they dont, we love and care for tthem just the same. They have shelter, food and safety, and a loving heart watching them romp through the grass and woods. We do not beleive we are anything special and we do not work against mother nature, we have no egos and we love networking with anyone who wants to assist any furry kid anywhere. We feed most of our kids a natural diet. We beleive fresh air, grass and earth, and natural stimulations are imperative for overall health. We have made wonderful outdoor enclosures so our kids can climb trees,,poo in the grass if they want,,hide in tree trunks and chase bugs, watch chipmunks and fluff up at the neighboring dogs stopping by to say hi. When one of our kids is ready to pass, we will lay with him/her until their little heart has stopped beating. We let them pass whereever they chose, whatever is comfortable for THEM,,NOT US. It would be very convenient, easy and alot less painful to just euthanize at the beginning of a terminal illness, however we strongly feel death is a process for a reason, and we have NO RIGHT to rob these kids of it, not to mention the countless kids who came to us with the " they have 2 weeks to live" diagnosis and they went onto live 3-4 more years. We are pathological optomists, and we are honored to be able to be with these phenominal kids.

I'd like to meet:

Rescuers, animal people, crazy cat ladies/men. Anyone interested in animal welfare, people wanting to help these creatures. We are a group, not looking for one on one human companionship, but rather here to reach people who want to help or need help in the animal world ONLY.
