I may be out of it, but I'm still into you

About Me

Post-graduate life is less interesting than they tell you. But more interesting than you wish it wasn't.

My Interests

I no longer have dreams nor interests. Survival is foremost in my mind. I will eat your small pet if my paycheck does not cover groceries this month.

I'd like to meet:

You, you stunningly amazing, beautiful person you.

Music:

Whatever's cooler than your music right now.

Movies:

Movies by Jim Jarmusch, "Jesus Christ Superstar," movies by Jesus Christ (Superstar), "Red Dawn," movies by Miyazaki, Japanese zombie-samurai movies, French movies, Mexican movies, movies by the Polish brothers, old-school musicals, and many animated films of many varieties.

Television:

I am strangely addicted to 'Hell's Kitchen' because I feel that staring at a world-class chef for a couple hours a week will mystically improve my own cooking skill. I don't actually care much for the premise of the show or the people on it.

Books:

Kerouac, Hemingway, Dostoyevsky, Milan Kundera and other Czech literature, anthropological books, books about food, bell hooks, books with pretty pictures.

Heroes:

People who can get their whole fist in their mouth, and who can also drink from a straw without looking silly (which is NO ONE, FOOL!!!).

My Blog

My house. In the middle of my street.

There is a crosswalk right in front of my house. Sometimes pick-up trucks with tinted windows will slow down, but still be going fast enough so that you think they're not going to stop for you. And ...

Duhhh....

After nine months of living in this apartment, Marshall and I have just realized that our bathroom mirror is a cabinet. We are kind of dense.
