Timelord arose out of the creative music scene in Edgewater, NJ in 2005 and 2006. The 4-piece alternative rock band features front woman and creative force, Christine Miller-Polselli, an MIT graduate, and Timelord's vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and songwriter. Peter Orozco (drums), Zach Seely (lead guitar), and Damien Marianucci (bass) are accomplished musicians who also perform classical guitar to latin rhythm music. Timelord's sound is melodic with heavy guitar hooks and frequent guitar solos to form a modern, but large sound that appeals to wide audience. The lyrics cover mythology to social commentary and result in songs that range from dramatic (You're Trying to Kill Me) to whimsical (On the Avenue) to frantic (Pay No Attention). The band's influences include Brit Pop along with the American alternative and underground movement. Timelord has an impressive catalog of 12 original songs that have all been performed live in over 10 music clubs and music festivals mostly in New York City. Timelord has produced two original studio-recorded CD's: Secret Life of Machines (2007) and You're Trying to Kill Me (2009).
