I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I could tell you the statistics, what jobs I've held, places I've lived, but you would still know nothing about me.
Better that I tell you I've loved deeply, cried until I couldn't breath, and laughed so hard I spewed iced tea all over my date.
I've been so beaten down that I was content to get out with what I could pack in the car,
I've believed in myself enough to face the rejection that comes along with being a writer.
I've been so sure I couldn't remember my lines that I've gone on stage with them typed in tiny font on a rolled up piece of paper.
I've been so stupid over a guy that I sat on his doorstep when he wouldn't let me in. And I've been so smart about love that I moved cross-country to have the marriage I'd always dreamed of.
I'm a loving mother, a devoted daughter, a caring friend, a committed wife, an attentive lover, an awesome writer, a so-so cook, an avid reader, a quick learner, and a compassionate giver.
I'm put together on the outside and messy on the inside.
I love the ocean but hate the sand.
I'll smile if you say good things about me but I rarely say good things about myself.
I make mistakes. I try to make them right.
I'm human, so much like you and at the same time, nothing like you at all.

The Shoulders On Which We Stand - Please, Sarah, Remember Those Who Paved The Way For You
