Influences:
After some years of experimentation in more classical ways of rock and metal music,
I started a little experiment.
This experiment was called "fear.my.death". Now you might now it as [ówt krì].
The sounds started of as highly electronic droning, and has moved in phases between live recordings,
improvisation and towards a more avantgarde direction.
Starting out with my main influence Stephen O'Malley (...and his main bands Sunn 0))), Khanate and KTL) has now evolved to something where I draw constant inspiration from some of Frank Zappa's work,
Edgard Varése, György Ligeti, Carl Orff, early noise experimentalists like Luigi Russola and many minimalistic composers such as Erkki Salmenhaara.
Also a source of inspiration is found in modern, abstract, art, psychedelia and minimalistic painters such as Mark Rothko and Clyfford Still.
The fascinating idea that the artist is not giving out everything to the viewer or the listener,
but gives the audience a chance to create an own world of the stimulants he, or she, is given.
