Hi! So my name is Heather Dickerson, although I guess it's only technically Dickerson, I go by Wills most times. I got married last year, but I haven't officially changed my name yet. I know I'm procrastinating, but it's hard to lose my name, it's like a piece of me. As a kid growing up I hated my last name, any one out there who also has any sort of genitaila in their name knows how I feel. It sort of grew on me though, and now that I have embraced it I have to throw it out and be Wills, not a bad last name at all,don't get me wrong, it's just kind of sad. Anyways, after all that, back to 'About Me'. I live in Ketchikan, Alaska, you might have heard of us, Sarah Palin told Congress "Thanks, but no thanks.." for our bridge. If you're from down south (aka-not Alaska) you're probably like, Ketchikan?....Ketchikan?...Oh, You mean Nowhere! That's us! (Thanks a heap, Sarah!) So, I've been married a little over a year to this totally amazing, wonderful guy named Jeremy and we have two beautiful little boys, Kailen and Carter. Kai is two and Carter in 13 months. Some people may relate to this, have you ever seen or held a puppy or kitten that was so cute you wanted to just hug it and squeeze it til it's eyeballs popped out? Well that's how cute my kids are, I'm having to restrain myself on a daily basis. If you understand, we are kindred spirits, if not,you probably think I'm completely insane. It's pretty strange sometimes when I think about where I am now compared to 4 years ago. It's not that I'm a different person, but before I didn't care about much, nothing important anyways. When you have kids you have something to really live for, not just breath in and out, but actually LIVE. You're no longer living for yourself, this little person is going to set a bar by your example, which is a pretty damn scary thought sometimes . It's a lot of responsiblity, but it's the best motivator I've ever had. Anyways, enough of my rambling, I am on here to keep in touch with friends and to re connect with old ones.
